I get this question a lot. Check out the Getting Started section on the Home page of this web site.
Absolutely not. You can purchase fabric from me or any other reputable dealer. I do not charge extra for client provided fabric. I do however require that you provide me with a good quality upholstery grade fabric. Vist the Fabric page of this website for more information.
My shop is located in Staunton Virginia. Unfortunately I do not have a showroom for entertaining clients so my shop is closed to the public. All pick ups and deliveries take place off premissis.
In all honesty good upholstery isn't cheap. I look at it as a luxury, something you want vs. something you need. More than likley if you bought your furniture on sale at a box/chain store then labor+fabric will be more expensive than simply replacing your chair.
The short answer is if you love it and it fits your space then yes. If it's a famly heirloom or has strong sentimental value, yes. Now if you're looking at reupholstering as an investment then no definitely not.
No.
No.

Possibly. If your current fabric is still avalible for puchase then things become a lot easier. If not the outside back can be used to replace the arm fabric. The back can then be covered with a coordinating fabric. You may opt to replace the outside arm fabric with the same that is used on the back for a more intentionally shabby chic look.
I can order you whatever you may need to do it yourself but I do not stock supplies for resale. You will also have to in some cases buy in bulk so if you need 10' of something you may end up buying 150' of it.
Sorry, but no.
